Top Sleepers for 2026: Late Picks Projected to Beat Their Draft Cost

The names our projections rank well above their draft slot: later-round picks the board is sleeping on, sorted by how far their value outruns their ADP.

A sleeper is not a long shot, it is a mispriced one: a player the room lets slide into the later rounds whose projected role says he should have gone earlier. To find them we rank every player two ways within his own position, by ADP (where the market drafts him) and by our 2026 projection, then measure the gap. Working inside the position keeps it honest, a receiver against receivers, so the list surfaces real values instead of late-round quarterbacks who pile up points but never leave the board early. We floored ADP outside the first four rounds so these are genuine later picks.

The gaps are not subtle: on average this group projects 6 spots better at its position than where it is drafted. The board spans 4 positions, led by Wide receivers (5 of 13), and the value runs deep: Brenton Strange is going around pick 162 (round 14) yet projects as the TE13.

Leading the board: Jayden Reed (GB, WR), drafted as the WR43 at his position but projected as the WR29, a value of +14 spots. A projection is a bet on a role, so read the widest gaps as opportunity wagers: the more the market fades a player, the more you are betting the snaps and touches show up. Target these in the middle and late rounds, let them fall to their range, and pounce.
