Week 3 Usage Risers: Real Roles on Players Most Leagues Passed On
The 32 players rostered in under 60% of leagues who drew a starter's share of the targets, the carries or the snaps in Week 3, led by Mack Hollins. If those rates hold, the points follow.
Points are the loudest number a week produces and the least reliable one. What an offense decided to do with a player (how often he was on the field, how many of the targets went his way, how much of the backfield he got) is the part that tends to show up again the next Sunday. This post reads Week 3 that way, and only for players rostered in under 60% of leagues.
32 of them cleared at least one of the bars below, 16 of those on fewer than one roster in ten. 16 scored under 10 PPR points while doing it, which is the likeliest reason they are still sitting there: the role showed up in the snap counts before it showed up in the box score.
Roster share is the slower of the two numbers on each row. The other is Sleeper adds over the past week, and it says the market has already found some of these: 22 are among Sleeper's 100 most-added players, led by Ollie Gordon (11.6M), Kenyon Sadiq (3.7M), Emanuel Wilson (2.5M). Treat the roster share on those as a floor, and move on them first if you are moving at all. The rest were outside that list, under 128k adds each, which is where a role is still cheap.
Two caveats before the tables. This is one game, and one game of shares is a signal, not a settled role: an injury ahead of him on the depth chart, a blowout or a game plan built for one opponent can all inflate a week. And no free data feed publishes routes run, so for receivers and tight ends snap share is standing in for route participation. On a passing play the two are close to the same thing; on a run-heavy day they are not. So every name here comes with the same condition: if these rates hold, the points should follow. Week 4 is the first chance to find out.
Earning the targets
Receivers and tight ends who drew at least 18% of their team's targets on 5 or more looks. Target share is the stickiest usage number there is, and it is the one most directly tied to PPR points. The top 10 of 17 are below.

Backfield work
Backs who took at least 30% of their team's carries on 7 or more, or at least 12% of the targets on 4 or more as the passing-down back. Ordered by their share of the whole workload, carries and targets together.

On the field for nearly every snap
Receivers and tight ends on the field for at least 80% of their team's snaps who did not already make the target list. Near-every-down usage is the role that turns into targets once the ball starts finding him, and it is usually the cheapest version of that role you will see.

If you are adding one name off this post, make it Xavier Hutchinson: 6 of 25 targets (24%) and 29 of 54 snaps (54%), for only 8.5 PPR points, rostered in 9.9% of leagues. That is a role the box score has not priced in yet. The Week 3 Sunday waiver post covers the other side of the same week, the available players who already scored. The live add and drop board will show you who is already moving.

Snaps, targets and carries from Sleeper's Week 3 stat lines, with every share measured against the player's own team total for the week. Roster share was read from FantasyPros' consensus board at the same moment and frozen with them, on September 29, 2026 at 11:21 PM EDT, along with Sleeper's trending adds over the prior seven days (the feed lists only the 100 most-added players, so anyone below it shows as under the smallest count that made it). No free feed publishes routes run, so snap share stands in for route participation. Fantasy points are full PPR on Sleeper's scoring.
